Day 58

Baby in a basket! Gavin is obsessed with laundry baskets, so when we were at Grandma & Grandpa S's house, so was Aunt Jenny. Well Gavin kept trying to put things in Aunt Jenny's laundry basket and was helping her with her laundry. So she put him in the basket and towed him around in it! He loves a good ride in the basket! It isn't such a great picture since it is taken with my camera phone but it's a picture for the day =)

Day 57

Aren't my sinuses...cute? HAHA. Well, I had my ENT appointment today and he walked in and said, "WOW, you're Coca Cola" Now, I had no idea what he was giggling about, so I had to ask. "Um, what do you mean, Im Coca-Cola?" He said, "Well, Coca-Cola's slogan back in my days at med school was The Real Thing" I laughed so hard! Anyway, what he meant by all that was, he said alot of times he has people my age or older complaining of headaches saying its their sinuses causing them when really it isn't, but me, nope im the real deal, I have some seriously obstructed sinuses. He also took a culture of some gunk (for lack of medical terminology in my life) way back in my nose and will send it to the lab so we know "what bugs are growing in there" mmmm hope you ate before reading my blog today haha. So he put me on another 5 day antibiotic and I have to come back in a few weeks to see how it is looking. Then if it still looks the same and I still have no relief, then we will do surgery. I am glad he isn't quick to just put me under the knife ya know? HAPPY FRIDAY!

Day 56

SEVEN MORE MONTHS! Today marks exactly seven more months til I marry my best friend in the whole world! This picture is made up of what my bridesmaid dresses look like. This one is Bobs sisters that we ordered to make sure it matched the color we were going for. It does and perfectly! Im so excited! OH, and don't forget to vote your fingers off!

Day 55

So this was my rendition of what happened. In fisher price sense. (I forgot to take a picture while in the moment) Bob is leaving today for Boston for work. He says he would call me when he was at the airport. Well, at 5:40 pm Bob calls to tell me his car just stopped working and he managed to coast into the Budget Car Rental place across from the airport and I needed to call AAA to get it before they tow it. GREEEAAAAT. So I call AAA and cry to the guy that I cant get there and he says basically it is a liability so someone has to be with the car. UGH. Well I go out to try and start my car...NO LUCK. LOVELY. So long story short, Bobs Dad comes and gets Gavin and I from home and we venture on our way to the place to meet up with AAA. So finally, the AAA tow truck shows up and the guy gets out and says, "OK, you're all set" THAT'S IT?! We had to drive out here for a 3 second conversation?! GOOD GRIEF! SO, we have him tow it to the shop where he gets his car fixed at. THE END of a bad day all while Bob is in a $500 room with slippers laid out by his jacuzzi tub, he is lucky I love him haha.

(By the way, it was the timing belt in case you were wondering, however as far as my vehicle, Bessy's issues are still a mystery, I think she is water logged.)

Day 54

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Can our kid get any cuter?! (Ok, ok so Im slightly biased but look at that face and goofy hair!)I don't know why but he is melting me today. He is too stinkin' cute! He has been this happy little monkey all day!!! Laughing hysterically at little things and playing catch and I think I have now done "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" 700 times by now. I would do it another 700 too if it kept him this happy! He is normally a very happy kid, but today is almost humorous. So I just wanted to share with everyone his smile, since it's pretty much contagious with me. Hope everyone is having a great day! =)

Day 53

Ok, so this picture wasn't technically for the blog haha. This is one of the pictures used on our Save A Dates, I am so excited to be making them! Only 7 more months give or take until we can call each other Husband and Wife! EEEEeeee I am so excited! So, since this picture is wedding related, I shall continue to be with that (most of you know what's coming now don't you? lol) and let you all know Bob and I are in a contest and we need your votes!! Day 52

Today was the first Sunday in Lent. I also got to be blessed in front of the entire 11:15 mass. My heart was pounding out of my chest for some reason haha. I will be getting a blessing every Sunday during Lent. It is part of my becoming a Catholic. I have always considered myself Catholic, I just never made the Sacraments like everyone else. So this is my opportunity before Gavin gets older and before I get married to start a new life with my soon to be husband! Then after mass this morning, I headed over to St.Amelias Church, where I received a blessing (along with all the other candidates from other parishes around WNY) from the Bishop. It was quite an experience. Long, but very enlightening.

Oh and our baby is 16 months today! =( Ok fine, he isn't a baby anymore. Our TODDLER is 16 months today.

Day 51

This morning I had my very first maternity shoot. I was so nervous but so excited to see a friend I haven't seen in a little while. She is pregnant with a little boy, the soon to be Ethan Jeffrey. First let's talk about how absolutely amazing and fun and just precious her daughter Sammy is. I just want to hug her and squeeze her and UGH just eat her up. I was greeted with a hug when I walked in. Then she was so cooperative it was amazing. She stood and did exactly what we needed her to do, I was in photographers heaven! Then as mommy was taking breaks changing and what not, we were doing our own one on one photo shoot! She is such a ham (a beautiful one at that) and I can't believe how old she is getting and looking. Ok, back to the maternity shoot right? haha. So Mama did a great job posing and Ethan made his presence known as well with a few kicks here and there to Mama. She was so patient with me using my ideas that I scoured the entire internet for all week. Sometimes, she looked at me crazy but she said "Ok, I trust you" haha. Im glad I have such an easy going friend to experiment on. Although, she is just as beautiful as her daughter, so pictures didn't come off very difficult! If you're reading this Mama, I look forward to taking pictures of that baby boy soon! Thanks again for your time, patience and great heart. I am so glad to call you guys my friends.

Day 50

Today was my second CT Scan. This time was for just my sinuses. I snuck this picture while waiting for the lady to come in after typing me in the computer. I probably should have had it turned off but I couldn't resist a picture for my project. Don't worry folks, I turned it off after the picture =) So I had to lay on my belly first with my chin in the head rest, then they stuck my head in the whole of that big white circle looking thing, then it makes noise, then she made me flip over onto my back, did the same thing. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes from check in to check out. It was awesome! So, I don't find out whats going on as far as surgery and what not until next Friday the 26th, so wish me luck!

Day 49

Today was just an awesome day. After Gavins nap in the morning, he woke up and we ate lunch, then went to see my long lost friend Katie at the clothing store she works at (The Clothes Bar, it is so amazing in there and if you haven't checked it out yet, do so, you will love what you see!) we hung out and caught up on each others lives. It was awesome! I cant wait to hang with her again! It's been too long! THEN, I came home and waited for Bob, and we decided to go pick up my ring(not my engagement ring my ring from Bob for the birth of Gavin, it was his birth stone and so pretty!) from the Galleria Mall. While out there we window shopped and did some talking about how horrible both our phones have been and indulged on a pretzel for brain power. Well, I don't know what was in those pretzels, but it made Bob and I drive over to the Verizon store and pick out new phones and get them right then and there. Damn you Aunt Annies. Haha. Our phones and a blue tooth for Bob only cost us about $50 in the end. So, it was a great day/night overall!

Day 48

It's not that I am one of those people against meat, it's just a funny way of telling you that it's Ash Wednesday and you aren't supposed to eat meat today haha. So today was a horribly snowy day in our parts. Bob made it home late from work and by the time we were done eating our fish sticks(yeah so we are kids at heart, who doesn't love fish sticks?!) and fries we would have had to rush to church and hope for a spot to park and sit. It just was too scary and slippery outside for us to have to rush through. I just knew I should have went to the earlier mass with Gavin.

Day 47

How, on Gods green earth, do two and a half people make SOOOOO many dishes in ONE day? I really have no idea. I mean yes we eat at home for all meals, but sheesh, it is ridiculous. I also took this picture for the fact that I think its hilarious that Bob would have never stacked them like this. He would have done the dishes, then whatever didnt "fit" he wouldnt have washed. He would have waited for the next round or in other words, til I did them from being so OCD and not letting them just sit there. HaHa. Its also an ongoing joke around here because he calls me the "Queen of Stacking" because I can take a million dishes and stack them like a Jenga tower...just dont try to get something from the pile, k?

Day 46

My little busy body toddler. This is the ONLY picture that he was somewhat smiling in. He wanted to run away and do other things, while I, the mama, the photographer...wanted a good picture so I could hand out some wallets. Well, that ain't happenin' with this one. Oh well. I will try when Bob gets home to see if I can hold the camera while he positions him and entertains him from behind me. Things are getting tougher with our in home photo shoots. So sad. I used to be able to plop him down and click away. I would have almost 200 hundred pictures at the end of a session with him and I would have so many to choose from. Now, not so much.

Day 45

GENTLEMEN START YOUR ENGINES! Well, I am not particularly watching the Daytona 500 but Bob is. We decided that today, Valentines Day, that we would lounge around relaxing. Bob is watching the race, Gavin is playing with his cars and I am on the computer, blogging and researching more wedding things. Later we will have lasagna to complete our day. Happy Valentines Day everyone!

Day 44

We had lots to do today for our wedding and ended up being able to do so with the help of Bob's parents. They watched Gavin for us while we did some running around and went out to lunch. When we got back it was time for Gavins nap so we hung around a little while longer. We then decided to have a mild game night so Bob and I ran home and got some things. We went back there for dinner, then the fun began. Well Gavin found Bob's moms guitar from when she was little. He brought it out to us several times. Well when Uncle Ritchie arrived he would play it for us. Gavin loved it, so Uncle Ritchie brought him on his lap and I hurried to snap this picture. Maybe our Gavin is the next Keith Urban...one could hope right?! =)

Day 43

Mmmmmm. This morning I babysat Adriane, she is Bob's brothers youngest, or my soon to be youngest niece! She is cute as a button. Her and her two older twin sisters all have these amazing blue eyes that just get you every time. Which is the reason why I am babysitting her. One of the girls looked at their mom with those eyes and said "But you never come to anything" haha which isn't true their mom goes to a lot of things, but how can you resist the cuteness, I would be melted too. So anyway, her and Gavin got along great as usual. They were sharing like crazy and talking back and forth. I have to tell this story because its cute and funny all rolled in one. Adriane was sitting in the ball pit. Gavin was playing with the cars. Well Gavin walked over to the ball pit and grabbed two balls out and walked them over to hand them to me. Well, Adriane hurried out of the ball pit and walked rather quickly over to Gavin, made a loud noise at him and took the balls right out of his hands then proceeded back to the ball pit where she got back in and kept on playing. Meanwhile, Gavin is SCREAMING and crying and holding me so tight he is pinching the back of my arms. I couldn't help but laugh a little. This kid needs to get out more SHEESH! Sorry buddy mommy will figure out more play dates for ya! Anyway, so Rachel came to pick up Adriane and brought me in some of the chocolate covered strawberries she made for the party...mmmmmm don't worry Bob I saved you....ONE. hahaha. =)

Also, I hope everyone keeps the families of the victims of Flight 3407 in your thoughts and prayers today, wear red in remembrance. (My strawberry had duel purpose as you see)

Day 42

Mmmmm, I love coffee. I especially love Starbucks, but they closed in my town. So in my Starbucks coffee mug, is Dunkin Donuts fresh ground coffee. Which is even better in my opinion. Although since having a child I find myself throwing it in the microwave every half hour because I can never seem to drink it fast enough and I do not like cold coffee. YUCK. I also enjoy about a pound of sugar in i t(that one was for you honey) and skim milk. However, right now, we are drinking Whole Milk. BIGGER YUCK. It makes the coffee taste funny to me. Good thing I have my sugar though! haha. Bob grinds up the beans the night before and puts just the right amount of cinnamon in it, sets the timer and by morning we have fresh coffee! We should make a commercial for Dunkin Donuts (with their mugs of course) then at the end it can pan into Gavin and I doing "CHEERS" in the morning like we always do with his sippy cup and my coffee. It's GENIUS I tell ya!

Day 41

Cars, cars, cars...they're everywhere!! I love it though and wouldn't trade it for anything! A big Thank You goes to Kim & Mark, who gave us a box of cars and books! Gavin's two out of three favorite things!! I love when he "drives" the cars he makes that vrrrroooom noise that just makes you think, wow he is growing up so fast! He has been lining them up on the chair and pushing them off and after they fall he goes "OH!" it's amazing what they pick up from you when you don't even realize it.

Day 40

NIFTY FIFTY BABY! OMG. So I have been all over this lens like white on rice. I stare at the Best Buy site everyday hoping that maybe one day it won't say "Shipping Unavailable for This Item" which in translation meant(everyday for a month now) WE'RE FRESH OUT SWEETHEART! So, I went on with my life, thinking maybe when the time is right, it will happen. Over this past weekend Bob tells me that he ordered an external hard drive for our computer for my boat loads of pictures and what not. He asks me to try and stay home on Tuesday to wait for the UPS man. No problem! Well just a little bit ago (after several texts messages from Bob asking if he came yet) the UPS man finally shows up, hands me a box and walks away. I set the box on the couch and go back to my (web) surfing. I then get a text saying "I think he came, I don't think you opened it yet" Well yes he came and no I didn't open it, whats the big deal, its not like I plan on transferring the pictures right now anyway so SHEESH whats the rush. He then tells me to open it. Ok, I open, I CRIED. Yup folks, I officially cried after opening a box and seeing a Nikon box inside. I cried. I immediately ran to my phone and text Bob in all capitals how the hard drive suddenly turned into the nifty fifty and how amazing he was! I got this text back "Happy Valentines Day" OMG this is the (early) BEST Valentines present EV-ERRRRRR! Thank you again honey!!! =)

Day 39

While I was running Gavins bath tonight, little did I realize just how many balls from the ball pit he was throwing into his bath. He was so excited running back and forth he was exhausting us just watching him. I actually had taken off his diaper and was about to put him into the bath and he escaped and went and got two more! Little stinker! So needless to say the ball pit had moved into the bath pit. End count, 28 balls. AWESOME. haha.

Day 38

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAYYYYYY! It's Superbowl Sunday! We were just around the house all day and Gavin napped for 3 hours straight today, it was so out of the ordinary! Well Bob and I both took advantage of it and laid down for a nap ourselves and it was great. Then we ate and went off to the Superbowl Party at Dj and Melissa's place. We got to see some people we haven't seen in a while and it was great. Gavin just wandered the place for the few hours we were there making sure he was in every room and saw everybody. The game isn't even over yet and we are ready for bed...

Day 37

Happy 50th Birthday Linda! This is the cake I made for her from the Betty Crocker website. It was super easy and ooooo so yummy. She originally didn't want a cake, just an ice cream cake. Then the party that was only supposed to be immediate family turned into a couple extra, so she thought that maybe we should make a cake...and I was SOOOO excited, because next to photography, cakes are my second favorite hobby! So I immediately thought to do a bear, since she collects them. We wanted to incorporate a butterfly on his nose but after all that running around looking all over this county it seems, we couldn't find a butterfly ANYWHERE that would look good on the nose. So this had to do. Linda loved it and almost more than half was gone by the end of the night. Again, Happy Birthday Linda and here's to 50 more! =)

Day 36

If he only knew what kind of adventure he was going on today then he wouldnt be smiling. We have maybe 5 or 6 places to go after Bob gets home from work. Poor Bob won't even see it coming mwaahahaha. (Sorry hun) it's one busy weekend this weekend so I am trying to get alot done in one night. I work better under pressure so leaving around 6:30pm and trying to get home before Gavins bedtime will be pressure haha. We have to drop pictures off at a clients, then to Kmart for a birthday gift or two, then to the liquor store to pick up some wine for my mom while we are out there, then to Wegmans then to BJ's Wholesale Club then to Party City. PHEW. What a night it will be! Wish us luck =)

Day 35

Lets take a trip down memory lane, shall we? We were cleaning the basement the other day and I happen to find a picture frame collage of all these pictures and then some. It was so funny because I was smart enough at the time to write dates on the back. Everyone looks the same so it made it even cooler to look at! I think I laughed at every picture at the fact I remembered that time like it was yesterday! It's crazy to think I have my 10 year reunion next year. I always used to think it was so far away and now its next year! I plan to post them to Facebook and tag you all in them so watch for it! =) Thanks for all the memories friends!

Day 34

Cleaning all the stuff out of Gavin's closet to make room for the big boy things. UGH how awfully sad. I think I don't want to take it down to the basement because it officially means he doesn't use any of these things anymore. My baby is now a toddler and has bigger needs. Orrrrr I just don't want to take it to the basement because that means stairs and repacking totes down there haha. At least we have it organized in the basement for the next child.(not til AFTER the wedding people) Thank God for our friend Brittney because without her we would be pretty screwed on clothes. Thanks Again Britt!!!

Day 33

What a HAMMMMM! He is my snuggle man today. He got up this morning, I fed him breakfast and when he was done, he literally walked over to the couch motioning to get up on it. So, him and I sat on the couch for an hour watching Dora just snuggling! (Take that daddy!haha) I couldn't help but get up and grab the camera and snap a picture of my not so little man hangin' on the couch, and just as I was about to snap the picture I hear "EEEEEEEEEEE". I love that he knows what to do in front of a camera, Lord knows I put him in front of it enough!

Day 32

The ball pit balls. For some reason, end up EVERYWHERE. Now, while this is a fantastic toy, Gavin enjoys sitting in it and riffling them out of there. I picked up twenty of them today and many days prior to this day I have picked up over thirty. YUP, I have counted. Just because I think its hilarious(not at the time of picking them up of course) that he sits in there and just throws them one by one laughing. Hey whatever makes him happy right? I could never take this toy away from him, I would rather clean up all the balls out of it everyday than do that. Thanks for the ball pit and extra balls Aunt Brandi! =)
