Day 90

Our peanut and his rake. Grandma S bought him a rake and boy does he get his use out of it! He rakes the living room and every other room, even the bath tub! Now we just have to teach him how to use it outside! Ahhh I love this age, so fun and so interested in the silliest little things!

Day 89

I NEED this fish tank. I love it. It fits the room perfectly and it had the coolest little orange fish in it! This was at Buffalo Ultrasound. I was there for an Echocardiogram. It was amazing seeing your heart from that point of view. Watching it beat and blood and oxygen move around it was just so cool! The U/S tech basically schooled me as I laid there getting it done. I could probably tell you all the different parts of the heart through U/S if you wanted me to lol. Turns out my "strong heart murmur" is really nothing. The EKG I had was borderline and this echo just showed that I had a longer flappy thing on my valve than most. So I am unique...I knew it! =) Mama was right I sure am SPECIAL! hahaha. But anyway it was great to have someone who has done this for 20 years so she could really talk to me about what was going on with my wittle heart!

Day 88

Gav eating lunch. Lately he had PCS (Photographers Child Syndrome) he sticks his hand in his mouth when I tell him to say cheese, he looks away from me when the camera comes out...it really just sucks...but wait til the end of this week and hopefully I will show you how much my little man has grown! =) Anyway today was another hectic day as usual. It just never ends around here!

Day 87

Blurry Phone Pic. Yup there are a lot of those lately but its been a hectic week! This is our little monkey pushing around his bunny and his sippy cup around the entire living room. All the while saying "VRRRRROOOOM". Today I could have also taken a pic of the tow truck driver taking Bobs car away since the brake lines blew out on us in the middle of traffic! Ahhh yes we should just consider our life to be completely Murphy's Law. Oh well, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger right? RIGHT?!

Day 86

Is this seriously not the biggest swing you have ever seen?! I don't get why they are so huge but hey whatever floats your boat...or your kids I guess in this case. Every Saturday it has been beautiful out. So while it stays that way we have been making Saturdays our "Adventure Day!" we go to various different playgrounds and then while we are leaving Gavin screams and cries like we are kidnapping him. Makes for an awesome point of view from the other parents ya think? haha. Anyway so you will probably continue to see playground pictures from my phone or regular camera every Saturday unless there is something going on.

Day 85

I had the pleasure of going to the hospital to get this shot of Baby E. I was so excited to get there! My friends had their baby yesterday and I was so excited to get to photograph a newbie. I couldn't be happier for you guys! He is so adorable and he is blessed to have such wonderful parents and a great big sister as well! =) See you next week for our photo shoot!

Day 84

Yup that's right folks, only 6 more months til our wedding! Ahhhhhh I am super excited! Everything is pretty much done and now the waiting game and party time begins! I can't wait to finally be his Mrs. it is hitting me hard this week. I am so overwhelmed with excitement! Bob is truly such a wonderful person and I can't say it enough. He and I have been through so much that to finally have a day dedicated to us is just beyond words! Thank you for putting up with me hunny! =) Oh and you're welcome as well hahahaha.

Day 83

Aren't they stinkin cute?! I made a bunny hat and a bear hat to fit a newborn head. Im super excited! Poor baby E is probably going to be my little guinea pig with these hats but hey they will get super cute pictures out of it don't you think? Stay tuned for his newborn pictures to see these cute hats on baby E once he arrives! Tomorrow is the big day!

Day 82

Ahh yes. The day finally came. The doctor office said "it's surgery time sister" ok, so they didn't say THAT specifically but wouldn't sound so much better if they did. I think they should be required to not make it sound so bad. Like let's try this...

Dr Office: Hi, is this Jessica?

Me: Why yes it is!

Dr.Office: "WONDERFUL! You get to have surgery, aren't you SO excited?!"

Me: "Well, since you put it THAT way, absolutely, where do I sign?"

See, now wouldn't you be more apt to run and get your pre-op stuff done and set everything up? Anyway, in all seriousness, I am having surgery on April 6th. It is called "Image Guided Surgery" where they give you a CT scan before the surgery then they download(for lack of technical terms) it into a headset and that helps the surgeon as they go through your nose with an endoscope. This way there is less healing to be done and less blood loss and better recovery time. Although the risk is leaking fluid into the brain, but that's minor right?! YEAH. Awesome. So wish me luck!

Day 81

These are all the toys I found on the floor of the backseat of my car. I had to get them out of there because it looked like a toy box. Not to mention half of them were laying in about 3 inches of water. Yup my lil bessy is a cry baby. No but really I think my windshield is leaking and I have tons of water all over the back seat floors and front seat floors in my car. Doesn't help when I have mold allergies and I smell it in my car. Bring on the nice weather so we can air this sucker out!

Day 80

Well, we sure tried to win that Ultimate Wedding Giveaway....BUT we didn't even place. Thank you for everyone who helped and voted like crazy! We did however get a bunch of flowers that are making me sneeze and a $100 gift certificate for putting our announcement for our engagement and wedding in the buffalo news. Wowie zowie. Lol. Ok so im a little bummed but hey who wouldn't be. At least good people won! (Oh and I photoshopped on those words on the envelope in case you thought differently haha) So thank you again we really appreciate all your help with this! =)

Day 79

Jusssst takin' a rest before he dives head first down the slide for the 100th time. This kid is an animal I tell ya! He ONLY wanted to go down head first and without any help at the top or bottom. He just kept doing it over and over and over. He loves playgrounds and I have a feeling I am going to need a lot of naps this summer with the amount of playing this little boy does! Wish me luck! haha

Day 78

It was such a nice day out that we decided after dinner we would take Gavin over to Gramma & Grampa S's house to play on their swing set for a little bit. He of course loved it! He was trying to climb up the slide and loved going down it just as much! However the swing is always his favorite and I am always guaranteed a smile in a swing picture!

Day 77

My monkey. I took him to the park for the first time since last year and he went crazy! Trying to climb up the slide and was following a little girl everywhere she went. It was just too much fun! Then we walked over to my grandparents house and by the time we sat down Gavin was rubbing his eyes and acting really tired. So we walked back to the car and went home and the minute we walked in the door little man decided he needed a nap and went straight to his room and waited for me haha. I love this fresh air stuff! =)

Day 76

These two crack me up! I am babysitting Adriane this morning, and these two were playing so nicely! Then it was Gavins nap time, so I put him in his crib, listened to him move around while Adriane and I sat on the couch while she ate some Cheerios and drank her milk, next thing I know, the cup of Cheerios fall on the couch and spill and I look at her and she is passed out sleeping! What kind of Irish kids are these two anyhow? SHEESH! So, you know me, I couldn't resist a good picture and took one of each kid and photo shopped a little picture together. Have a very Happy St.Patrick's Day! I hope you wore your green today! =)

Day 75

My little man is offering you a Cheerio! Lol. He is pretty sick of the camera as you can tell that he has learned how to block it! Ugh. I have scarred him for life! No, but every morning Gavin enjoys his banana and Cheerios and gets very upset if they aren't around for breakfast! He is such a creature of habit (no im not calling our son a creature, just a saying people haha) and loves his morning routine! Who am I to break something that works right?

Day 74

Yay! I made a bear hat! Gavin is not fond of it, however he will wear it and love it because I made it with love! haha. Err so I hope he wears it! Bob made a very funny comment to me today when he was on the phone with me and I was so excited over my bear hat. He said "I can just imagine what is to come when I get home, the house will be covered in hats and yarn and your fingers will be bleeding" Lol, so what I found a new hobby to correlate with my old hobby of photography, at least it is constructive and keeps me busy! Yay for yarn and knitting! =)

Day 73

You like-a my hat? I made these two hats. One is newborn size the other just fits Gavins head. I am so getting into this knitting stuff and to be honest I caan't believe it! Lol. I never thought I would actually enjoy it as much as I do. It is so relaxing and rewarding too! Can't wait to take pictures of babies in these! So, many more hats to come!

Day 72

The cake I made for Melissas bridal shower. I made from scratch this fondant that I used for the dresses. Unfortunately in this light the "bridesmaid dresses" look black, but they are really a purple color since that is our bridesmaid dress color. I tried to replicate it as best as possible. The shower went well, pretty much everyone showed up and Melissa got everything she wanted for the most part off her registry. Not to mention the punch was fabulous haha. All in all it was good eats and drinks and a good time had by all.

Day 71

As snug as a bug in a...rug? No, he is in his blanket, almost like he is swaddled! I walked in to reaffirm that it is "sleepy time" and ran back out to get the camera. Here he is in the corner of his crib, laying wrapped in his blanket with puppy and teddy right next to him. SO CUTE! Not to mention laughing at me for taking the picture and still laughing as I walked out. He seriously puts a permanent smile on my face! I love this lil guy!

Day 70

Last night we went and saw Beauty and The Beast at a local high school. It was WONDERFUL. I enjoyed it so so much! There were sixteen of us total who went. I got to sit near Bob's nieces and they pretty much cracked me up every 5 minutes with their comments and questions. They are almost 6 going on 16 and they are just adorable! For instance, when the Beast gave Belle a whole bunch of books, Bob's one niece looked at her mom and said "That's not very much!" It seriously was so cute and hilarious all at the same time! The part of Belle is played by Bob's cousin Ali. I just love her! I knew the girl could sing (as can her Father and Sister it's so awesome!) but after this play last night she just blew me away! Not to mention she is just absolutely gorgeous and is just so nice! She was the perfect person for Belle! Bravo Miss Ali! You were absolutely amazing! I'm looking forward to seeing you perform in many more plays! =)

Day 69

I look at this everyday. I keep it hung up in our kitchen and I just love it. Not much to say about it since the picture really says it all, but it is one of my favorite decorations in our house!

Day 68

Awww look, these are like my own lil shamrocks! Bob's parents brought them over for us and I love them so much! The flowers/leaves open and close in the morning and the evening! It's so pretty! Anyway, only one more week til St.Patricks Day! WOOHOOO!

Day 67

Haha. Ok, seems like a strange picture to take, I know. BUT my mom and I were shopping and saw this and it seemed like a great idea. You see, I have mold allergies. The back hallway and basement literally near kill me when I spend too much time in them. SO, we thought maybe this one little thing may help absorb the moisture and that way we can really see if there is tons of moisture out there. Basically im trying to justify spending Bob's hard earned money on running a dehumifier in a place we don't own!

Day 66

Day 65

The next E*Trade baby folks. You saw it here first! Lol. Well, we were at Gramma & Grampa S's house today for our weigh in and Gavin just loves their computer room. So there is where he ended up and kept trying to get Grampa to let him up on the chair. Well sure enough we hear from the room "Get the camera!" We run in there and this is exactly how Gavin was sitting and typing on the keyboard and playing with the mouse like he knew exactly what he was doing. We don't have a regular computer just a laptop so I don't know where he learned this from but hey it's adorable!!

Day 64

Who doesn't love a box? Well, we all know from earlier on in this project that Gavin just loves hanging out in a box but this one has a small opening and he climbed right in and turned around like a little turtle peaking his head out! So cute! Always something funny going on in this house!! =) I love every minute of it though!

Day 63

I am doing exercises from the book Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson and this was part of one of them. It was trying to make the lights turn into octagons. It was quite awesome. I also would like to add that with the help fo this amazing book I am officially on full Manual operation WOOHOOOOOO! So in the spirit of St.Patrick's Day/Month lol, here's to you! Cheers!

What a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Well, ok so I adjusted the coloring on this to make it pop more but still the sky looked so awesome! I am so fortunate to be living in a town that has views like this and especially living on a hill! Enjoy the view!

Day 61

I like a clean house. Who doesn't? I also like to keep my kids toys together so we can use them in the future as well as now. I realize for some of you seasoned mothers that you think this probably won't be possible for long, but hey I'm gonna go down tryin! haha. So every night when he goes to bed (all the while Bob is laughing at me) I search for all his magnets and put them back on the fridge and put all his toys back where they belong. So this morning after breakfast I had the gate down in the kitchen because I'm trying to not "cage" him in the living room so much, so he was back and forth and happy as a clam! Well, after he went down for a nap, I decided to hunt for magnets, seeing that they were looking pretty scarce on the fridge. Well, I found these seven in my boots. I should have known. Even when we are at other peoples houses, Gavin always manages to put something in their shoes without anyone knowing it. He cracks me up though with it. I just hope he doesn't discover throwing things in the garbage because I am NOT searching in there!

Day 59

This is a picture from the balloon I got for Gavin from Saundra's baby shower. Funny story, well not so funny then, but funny now. I received the invitation and put it in my calendar, then threw it out. I had in my calendar that it started at 1pm. I knew I had to get gas and that it would take me about twenty minutes to get there. So I dilly dallied all morning long, took a shower, got dressed sixteen times, then left and went and got gas and even decided to take the back roads instead of the thruway. WELL, I get a text message while at the gas station from her fiance that said "Appearantly they are waiting on you. You coming?" As I read the text I said WAAAA?! I said "I thought it started at noon, im ten minutes away or so"...her fiance then says back, "nope noon." UGHHHHHH What a jerk I felt like. So I finally got there, apologized my tail off and on went the shower! The food was great, the gifts were plenty and the cake and ice cream was oooo so good! I can't wait to meet the lil guy and I can't wait for him to meet his wonderful parents!

Day 60

HAPPY MARCH! This lil amish wanna be leprechaun is the sign of our favorite holiday...St.Patrick's Day! I already put up all the lights and shamrocks and can't wait for the parade day to get here. We are finally bringing Gavin this year since he is old enough and I am sad to say(nope not really that's actually sarcasm) that I will remember this years parade. You see, where I live, the Sunday before St.Patty's Day, we have a huge parade downtown and every bar is open and within walking distance starting at about 11am. You pretty much can drink on the street and yeahhhh so let's just say every year (besides the year I was pregnant) I drank like a fish and felt it the next day pretty hard. This year is the beginning of an awesome tradition we can start as a family with Gavin. SO Excited!
