Day 153

Still sick...poor kiddo. Not much to report just no eating here and no drinking...we are told that if by friday he isn't drinking more then we need to get him into the hospital for iv fluids. I will not go to the hospital...so if I have to feed him liquid by dropper I will. Good thing he is enjoying the pedialyte huh?

Day 152

Gavin is sick. He is hardly eating, not drinking...ugh it is so horrible. He just lays next to me on the couch all day. Then when it is time for a nap he takes me into his room to lay him down. I took him to the dr today and found out he has the Rotavirus or some form of it. He just is so pitiful my poor lil monkey!

Day 151

My poor little honey is acting all sorts of sick. He threw up in the middle of the night and just seems off today. I am thinking maybe dehydration from the heat all week and playing outside and sweating and what not. We have a family party to go to today so we will see how he does. Then go and get some pedialyte and make him drink as much as possible to knock this out of him!

Day 150

The definition of crazy monkey right here folks! He put his chair on top of a chair...I watched him closely so don't you fret but it didn't last longer than it took for me to take the picture. I am too much of a nervous nelly so to speak that I couldn't watch any longer.

Day 149

Happy Birthday to my Mom! This is my mom and her three amazing grandchildren! The older girl and boy are twins and are so much fun! Gavin is taking after the little boy for sure! He is in love with cars almost as much as he is! In fact Gavin got all his hand me down cars he doesn't play with anymore! It is so cute! Back to my mom, haha, she had a great birthday party, the weather couldn't have been better! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!!!

Day 148

I had a photo shoot today with one of the most adorable little boys I have ever seen (well besides my kiddo of course haha) and his mom and they were such a pleasure to take pictures of and play in the park with. I look forward to many more shoots with this family!!! =)

Day 147

My poor poor baby. Another reaction. To what you ask? We have NO clue...and that folks is even scarier than knowing. I mean clearly it is dairy or egg or peanuts or fish. BUT he was fine til we got home to unload the groceries. So I assume (yup I know what that means) that he must have touched something somehow when we got home. This poor little honey didn't even get a break for a week before having to go through this all over again. It is so hard watching him look so miserable and scratch and be so red. Its even worse when you watch the rock in your life pull out the epi pen just in case...so even then you know he knows its bad and its not just your imagination. =(

Day 146

A day in the pool for us as it was an extremely hot day today! Gavin loves hanging out in the pool just as much as he loves putting donkey on his head and anyones head for that matter. He yells KEYYYYYYYYYYYYY then makes you put it on your head. I just love this personality he has it is so much fun! I love this kid...I mean look at him, how could you not?!

Day 145

FOUR MORE MONTHS!!! I can't wait til my wedding to the most amazing man in the world! My rock, my heart and most of all my best friend! I love you honey!

This was the view from our porch! It was so cool to see it go over! It was scary at first when you heard the blast from the ignitor on the balloon. I ran for my camera and missed the amazing view so this will have to satisfy ya'll! =)

Day 142

WORST.DAY.EVER. Well not entirely. Our day started off nice even though it was rainy we made our way over to our friends First Birthday Party. Then headed off to a family party. Then we stopped at a friends house on our way home and Gavin was playing with his daughter and her toys. All was great. Then Gavin started to break out in hives all over his face and his ears were bright red and face was on fire. His eyes started to swell and we started contemplating driving directly to the ER. We put him in the bathtub and called the pediatrician. Then it just became a waiting game for the benadryl to kick in, it was the longest most torturous experience as a parent. Looks like it was the dried milk he got in contact with then touched his face. Looks like we have to be even more careful when he is out and about especially at others houses and parties.

Day 141

We brought the pool inside haha. The bugs were absolutely terrible so we filled up the bath tub and Gavin had fun filling up his sand buckets and playing in the bath for a less than formal bath time! =)

Day 140

High of 77 and Sunny all day. Yeah baby! We quickly ate breakfast and got our sunscreen on and blew up the new baby pool(can't wait to break out the big one!) put a little water in it and some toys and Gavin was in heaven. He didn't waste any time. He just stepped right in and started moving around and getting soaked. It was hilarious. Then it was nap time so we came in after having a meltdown about it. Lol...ahhhh summer just stay already!

Day 139

Gavin just loves this park, so we took him to the other side of it for more variety. Well this little monkey went right for the monkey bars and started to climb...right after I told him No Gavin you aren't tall enough yet...he didn't care he was determined to climb...until he saw the SLIDE!!! Oh and forget leaving, people probably thought we were kidnapping him!

Day 138

How is our kid so destructive? I hope this means he will become a surgeon someday because these messes are killing me! He took apart the pages and took the filling right out of it in tiny little pieces EVERYWHERE! Oh well, thats what vacuums are for right?

He is so stinkin cute! This is the face he makes when he knows we are going to Grandma & Grandpas house! We went and had dinner and watched Gavin play with water and rocks...it was a great relaxing evening!

Day 135

Guitars, No Cadillacs, Hillbilly Music, the only thing that keeps me hangin onnnnn. Yup that was Dwight Yokum. And we listened to him almost all night beside Dan playing his guitar for us. This was a great way to break in the new and improved party yard. Coming soon...golf area, horseshoe pits, ladder ball and more burnin stuff and dance parties!

Why does our child feel the need to stand so close? He can see perfectly fine. The TV so is freakin huge you would think he shouldn't need to. I also have probably told him a million times to stop trying to touch the people in it! SHEESH! It's Max & Ruby though and if you could see his face light up when he gets to watch them you would let him stand this close too!! =)

I couldn't just sit there and look at the half ripped wallpaper in Gavins room soooooo I took it off. Yup gated him out and it was done within a half hour. Some wallpaper chomp stuff and a rite aid savings card and a sponge did the trick. YAY! So now to think of color for his "new room" haha.

Day 130

So about twenty something days ago I showed you a picture of a small piece of wallpaper hanging by a thread. That piece lasted...until this morning. I get up go in to get Gavin and this is what I walked into. Along with pieces in his crib one hanging from his mouth and I literally walked right back and out...and laughed. I know I know I should be mad, but he has no clue what he did. Boy don't I wish I had a video of how he ripped it off. I can see it now. A smile from ear to ear laughing "talking" all while ripping and taste testing this paper. So I walked back in and took a picture with my phone and proceeded to tell him (as he is pointing and laughing at his work) "No, Gavin, we don't rip wallpaper off the wall, that's bad." What does he tell me? "GOOOOOOOOOO!" While "throwing" his finger at me. Good Lord child if you didn't like the turtle theme just say so, you don't have to redecorate on your own. So Im sure the pictures to come will be of his newly painted room. It's always something here! (Oh and THANK GOD he isn't allergic to the glue on the wallpaper that would have just killed me)

Bob and I were in a wedding today. Bob's cousin Dj married his girlfriend of 3 years Melissa. They both looked great and the day was great. We had quite a few hoops to jump through but nothing we all couldn't handle! Congrats Dj and Melissa!!!!

I have the honor/pleasure of being a photographer for this clothing store that is launching their new website. So I get to take pictures of clothes all day. GIRLS DREAM! It is going to be damaging for the pocket though if I come across anything that would look good on me. They even sell purses and we all know that is my biggest demise! So I will keep you all posted when the website launches and you can see all the product and buy from their site...all pictures by me! =) SO FUN! (Not to mention seeing my girl Katie all day while im there! It's great!)

Day 126

I have no picture for this day because I was a couch sloth. I was so hungover from Cinco De Mayo that I literally hardly moved all day long. Bob had running around to do and that was all well and good...until the car moved. Thank god I kept it together...at home. haha. So sorry to report no picture today!

Day 125

PFFSSSH! So, our Cinco De Mayo started off with some weeding in the yard and me getting sunburned. Then we planned on a Cinco De Mayo El Fuego (yeah so we made it up) with our new neighbor upstairs. Everything was going fine. It was a 75 degree day, everyone was in a great mood. THEN....Im in the shower and I hear a loud slam...I just thought Bob slammed the window shut or something, nope, not at all. The window broke. The bottom part was so dry rotted it fell right off our bedroom window. UGH. We sucked it up and went and got beer, cooked our amazing taco dinner and the clouds rolled in. The neighbors friends started rolling in and they even had more wood. Then the sky opened and it poured. NOOOOO. We waited til about 9pm to see if it would stop and it hardly did...so we spent our night upstairs with the neighbor and his fun friends celebrating our Cinco De Mayo listening to vinyls and drinking beer.

Gavin fell asleep waiting for us to clean out our old car for the new car(YUP WE GOT IT!!)...only to find out we have to wait til tomorrow for it. Oh well at least there is less to do tomorrow so we can sign papers and ride out in our NEW CARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

This may be our new love. We went to buy a car today and came home with one to test out for the weekend! This is a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix...I love it! Just as we walked past it I knew I loved it! We are feeling a "clunk" when we turn so we are going to have them check it out when we bring it back on Monday and hopefully we will be the proud owners of this honey pot!!! =)

Day 120

We went to Gavins favorite park. He literally dives down the slide and loves every minute of it! We stayed for a couple hours and he was so tuckered out he fell asleep on the ride home. I just love that he is so happy all the time! Cracks me up!

Day 119

These are 2 of my T-Fal pans. The one on the right is beautiful and shiny and clean. The one on the left is clean and was beautiful and shiny. Now WTF? Obviously it is because I cook with grease specifically in this pan, but how in the world am I supposed to get this crap off the bottom? My mother suggests comet, which comet usually cleans everything, I just hope it doesn't ruin it. If you have any real suggestions I would love to hear it! Happy Thursday, only one more day til the weekend! =)

Day 118

That is my swollen Uvula. You know, the hangy ball thing in the back of your throat? Yeah, mine is touching my tongue at times. It is gross. I woke up and thought I was having an allergic reaction to something because my throat felt like it was swollen shut. Nope, just the hangy ball actin up! haha. I called the ENT and when he called back he said it could be a cold virus that sometimes starts there or it could be an infection. I have to keep my eye on it throughout the day and make sure it doesn't get any bigger and gargle with salt water and eat/drink cold things to help the swelling. So...if it isn't one thing it's another. Such is life. UGH GOOD GRIEF!

Day 117

This was a little girl I got to do a 1yr photo shoot with on Sunday. Today is her actual 1st Birthday so I figured I would wait til today to post it. Happy 1st Birthday lil L! It has been so nice being able to take your pictures since you were little and watching you grow throughout! Thanks Mom for bringing her to me! She is a pleasure as usual! =)

Day 116

He is so thrilled to have his picture taken isn't he? UGH. So another camera phone picture but anyway, this is his new bag chair from Gramma & Grampa S. conveniently he had monkey pajamas on and sat right in the monkey chair to watch tv. Thanks for the chair Gramma & Grampa can't wait to start using it on camping trips!

Day 115

5 MORE MONTHS! Til I marry the man of my dreams! I cannot wait until I get to walk down the aisle and see Bob staring back at me smiling. Ahhhh! It is gonna be so surreal! Bob asked me the other day if I was gonna be able to keep it together and I answered yes but, let's be serious honey, we all know I am an emotional wreck, so with that said make sure you bring me some tissues in case I forget to! =) I love you honey! Can't wait!!

Day 114

One of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesn't belong. Why, after twenty hundred million gazillion times that I tell this child that his cup doesn't belong in the ball pit, does he still do it? I mean, most people would say "Aww he is 18 mos old he doesn't know any better" Bob might say "He probably doesn't realize" but I think it's funny to him. He is smarter than we all give him credit for and I think he loves the reaction that comes out of me. I just don't like it because then the balls get juice all over them and I am pulling them out cleaning them everyday of my life. I don't like bugs or ants so this is my "good housekeeping" to deter them away...but obviously it isn't working too well huh? Ahh well, keeps me busy!

My coupon binder. It is getting to big for its britches! SO, looks like I need a bigger binder to put all my coupons in. I just love this website from this lady and can't wait to get out and start getting some more free stuff! It just feels awesome when you come home with a bunch of stuff for little to no money at all!

Day 112

The sister of the Netti Pot, the sinus rinse squirty bottle. YUCK. The doctor said to keep doing this for a couple more weeks then just my nose spray from then on. At least it isn't every single day of my life, cuz I do not enjoy feeling like im drowning without even being in a pool. Ok, ok so it isn't THAT bad, but it is uncomfortable but it's worth it to be healed correctly though I suppose.

HAPPY 18 MONTHS TO OUR LIL MONKEY!! Sorry for the awful phone pics lately, Gav won't even look at the camera when I pull it out so this is about as good as it gets for now. He only smiles in front of it with Daddy so I will have to do a photo shoot soon to mark this 18 month milestone! Time sure went by fast it's almost time for a 2nd birthday! YIKES!

Im in the beginning works of knitting a bag dispenser. I am so sick and tired of the bags under our sink taking over so instead of sewing one or buying one, I am knitting one from a pattern found online. So excited to see how this turns out! I just love knitting now...my fingers don't love it though!

Bob's parents threw Jenny a surprise birthday party at their house and I had the honor of making her cake. I wanted to make something over the top to celebrate in the best way! Go big or go home right? Well I brought it big just for my sister brown eyes! I had so much fun making this cake and can't wait to make another one...anyone got something coming up that you need a cake for? I have fun doing them! Anyway, Happy Birthday Jen, I hope it was everything and more!!!

This picture was actually taken 4/18/10 but its to show you the cake before it was done, so let's pretend this was taken on 4/17/10. I chilled them overnight and decorated in the morning. The cake is for Bob's sisters 21st birthday tomorrow and she has no idea what is coming! =)

Remember on Day 104 when I told you that because of my friend Kerri I was going coupon crazy? Well folks, feast your eyes on this! I spent $3 on all this stuff. I saved and I was super happy. No I don't have a dog, but my grandparents do and I am more than happy to help them out with all the love and help they give us. So no matter what this was a win - win situation! YAY! Thanks Hip2Save! (And Kerri mostly for the introduction and tips! Love you girl!)

Day 105

I took this picture to show the extreme eczema Gavin has on his face. I started doing bleach baths and putting 1% hydrocortisone on his face after then lotion right before bed and let me tell you this spot has basically completely cleared off his cheeks. They were so rough and dry and sore looking I researched to find a way to heal them. So if you are interested on how I did it, message me and I can give you the exact recipe.

Day 104

This is my pile of coupons. I am starting our own coupon craze here. A good friend of mine (thank you Kerri!) told me about this website www.hip2save.com and let me tell you, this lady is good. I mean REAAALLLLL good. So I got all our old papers went through them and organized them into weeks. I then will cut them all and place them in a binder (again thank you Kerri) and we will be saving money and stocking up left and right. Im so excited to be doing this. It is the least I can do while Gavin is napping =)

Why does our kid feel the need to pick off his border in his room? I mean I know it is our fault for having him so close to the wall to begin with but come on. We worked hard getting that on and straight for his arrival to his new room when he was born. Or maybe he is just sick of his "Turtle Bay" theme. Good thing we are only here for a little while longer then we can redo his room in Cars theme!

Day 102

My night and shining...humidifier. This thing is quiet, pumps out a good amount of mist and the best thing since sliced bread for someone who needs to keep their sinuses moist haha. This is a borrowed unit from Bobs parents. Ours is super loud and Gavin was in need of it in his room for the time being so they let us borrow this one for a lil bit! Thanks guys! =)

Day 101

Hard to tell but this was my get well gift from my future mother in law. She is so cute she tied a get well balloon on a box of tissues. She rocks especially since she knew how I had scratchy tissues at home so she gave me a nice huge box of soft Kleenex brand tissues! So nice!
